Lightweight anodised rear sprocket Horsepower measured at the rear wheel is about 15% less than what would be measured at the crankshaft, this is due to power being lost through transmission, chain, sprockets, vibration and moving a large mass like the rear wheel. These anodised alloy sprockets reduce the weight of the rear wheel by up to 2kg. Steel sprockets do not run completely true due to being stamped out, these alloy sprockets are cnc machined which results in a better fit on the wheel and less run out.
