Stock tensioners also preload the camchain and tensoiner wheels, this results in accelerated wear. This is why most race/trackday bikes have the manual billet tensoiner fitted, it can not back off and so reliability is not an issue, another reason engine tuners fit this piece is because it does not preload the chain and so friction/wear is reduced, and power is increased. 	Lightweight anodised rear sprocket Horsepower measured at the rear wheel is about 15% less than what would be measured at the crankshaft, this is due to power being lost through transmission, chain, sprockets, vibration and moving a large mass like the rear wheel. These anodised alloy sprockets reduce the weight of the rear wheel by up to 2kg. Steel sprockets do not run completely true due to being stamped out, these alloy sprockets are cnc machined which results in a better fit on the wheel and less run out. Anodising will harden the sprocket and look better than black/rusty steel sprockets. Available in your choice and in Red, Blue, Gold, Black or plain Silver.
